La giudice al processo per diffamazione di Johnny Depp contro l’ex moglie Amber Heard ha respinto la richiesta degli avvocati di lei per l’archiviazione del caso. Penny Azcarate ha detto che sono state presentate finora prove sufficienti per permettere al procedimento di andare avanti. La richiesta dei legali di Amber era una quasi formalità una volta conclusa la fase del processo in cui il querelante presenta le sue prove. Il processo è in corso a Fairfax, in Virginia, alle porte di Washington. Depp chiede 50 milioni di dollari di danni sulla scorta di un articolo di opinione (considerato diffamatorio) sul Washington Post a firma della Heard in cui l’attrice si è presentata come vittima di violenza domestica.
