Soccer: Berlusconi leaves door open for Kaka return to Milan

(see related story on site)
(ANSA) - Milan, July 31 - Silvio Berlusconi is leaving open
the door for a possible return of Brazilian soccer star Kaka to
AC Milan.
Berlusconi, the owner of the Serie A club, said Tuesday
that he would need to be very careful about the terms of any
contract with the high-priced player, but stressed that he "is
in our hearts for the player and the man he is".
"Kaka is one of those players who have made a mark in the
history of Milan," Berlusconi added in comments to the AC
Milan's in-house TV channel.
The Brazilian joined Milan in 2003 for a fee of 8.5 million
euros. He helped Milan win the Serie A title in his first season
with them and the Champions League in 2007.
After great success in Italy, Kaka joined Real Madrid for a
transfer fee of 65 million euros.
But he floundered there and is now considered surplus to
requirements by the Spanish champions.
