Grillo attacks political parties, Monti

(ANSA) - Rome, September 6 - Genovese gadfly comedian Beppe
Grillo raised his sights on Thursday by dismissing all
politicians as crooks and inviting Italian Premier Mario Monti
to "go to the Barbados" with former PM Silvio Berlusconi, who he
calls the "psycho-dwarf".
"(The political parties) cannot understand how we have
managed in three years to become almost the second-largest
political force in the country without money, by refusing
electoral reimbursements," Grill told Dutch TV in reference to
his populist 5 Star movement which performed well in local
elections in May.
"They don't have it in their DNA: being crooks, people who
have stolen all their lives, they cannot see how it is possible
to do something without an economic return".
The comedian then called on the prime minister to "resign
immediately from office, have (Italian President Giorgio)
Napolitano dissolve parliament, go to the Barbados and stop
annoying everyone".
He said the economic situation had worsened under the Monti
government and reiterated his call for a popular referendum on
whether or not Italy should remain in the eurozone.
