Two die in Rome Cessna crash

(ANSA) - Rome, September 7 - Two people died after their
Cessna aircraft went down near Rome's Ciampino airport on
Friday, crashing into an auto depot.
Firefighters found the victims' charred remains after
arriving at the scene to put out a large fire that had broken
out following the crash.
The six people working in the depot at the time of the
accident managed to escape unhurt before the fire broke out.
The plane had started its flight in the northern city of
Brescia and was heading to Rome's Urbe airport.
Investigators are now trying to establish whether the plane
had been following its correct flight path or whether it had
been trying to make an emergency landing at Ciampino.
The national aviation safety agency ANSV has opened an
inquiry into the incident.
