Italy makes changes to anti-mafia laws

(ANSA) – Rome, October 26 – The Italian government on Friday
approved changes to anti-mafia laws, including amendments to
guidelines governing the process of the State confiscating
property suspected to be owned by organized-crime members.
The measures, which aim to streamline the process, were
approved at a cabinet meeting of government ministers in Rome
after they had been previously authorized by the relevant
parliament commissions.
