Chinese express interest in building Messina bridge

Rome, November 7 - A Chinese company has expressed
interest in the project to build a bridge over the Strait of
Messina, according to Pietro Ciucci, the chief executive of the
company charged with studying the feasibility of the project.
On Friday, the government announced that it would not

Ciucci added.
The 8.5-billion-euro project will not be getting off the

Passera also said that he had not met with private Chinese
