Bomb scare over at Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome

Rome, November 21 - An evacuation order at Rome's
historic Castel Sant'Angelo was called off Wednesday after a
bomb squad inspected and dismissed as harmless an abandoned
black box.
Museum staff cleared the ancient structure, built
originally as a tomb for the Roman emperor Hadrian, and called
police when a box with antennae, batteries and a flashing LED
was found next to a wall at the foot of a statue.
Police later determined the box was harmless and allowed
visitors to return to the historic site.
The tomb was constructed on the right bank of the Tiber
near what became the Vatican between 130 AD and 139 AD and was
later turned into a castle for popes.
