Italian bond interest rates hit two-year low at auction

Rome, November 29 - Interest rates on five-year and
10-year Italian bonds hit their lowest levels in two years at an
auction on Thursday in a another sign that pressure may be
easing on the nation's borrowing costs.
The Treasury sold six billion euros worth of bonds.
The average interest rate given on the 10-year BTP bonds
was 4.45%, the lowest since November 2010, and on five-year BTPs
it was 3.23%, the lowest since October 2010.
