Milan, January 9 - Milan's criminal courts on
Wednesday rejected accusations from Silvio Berlusconi of bias in
the ruling that saw the ex-premier ordered to pay 36 million
euros a year in alimony to his estranged wife Veronica Lario.
Berlusconi said on Tuesday that the three-woman panel that
decided on the figure as part of a divorce settlement were
"feminist and Communist judges".
The courts said in a statement that it "rejected with
firmness any insinuation of bias" by the panel.
