Soccer: Inter reach deal with Galatasaray for Sneijder

Milan, January 10 - Inter Milan have reached a deal
to sell Wesley Sneijder to Turkish side Galatasaray and said
that it is now up to the Netherlands playmaker to decide whether
to move.
Sneijder is at odds with Inter after rejecting the club's
request that he take a salary cut in exchange for a contract
extension and he has not played since September.
"We had a meeting with Galatasaray the other day which went
well, now it's up to the player," said Inter Chairman Massimo
"It simply comes down to whether he wants to stay or not.
"In any case he's within his rights to either continue with
his great contract or to accept our terms, which we'd be happier
about, or to move to another club.
"We've left it up to him and we'll see what happens".
The 28-year-old, who has been strongly linked to Manchester
United in the past, is reportedly not keen on moving to Turkey
and is said to be hoping a Premier League side will make a bid
for him before the end of the January transfer window.
