Italy ranks 22 out of 29 in UNICEF child well-being report


Rome, April 10 - Italy ranked 22 among 29 nations
in a report by UNICEF released on Wednesday examining child
well-being in the developed world, trailing behind nations like
Spain, Hungary and Poland.
Italy however offers its underage citizens higher
well-being levels than Estonia, Slovakia and Greece, according
to the international organization's "Report Card 11".
The eurozone's third-largest economy ranks in the lowest
third of nations in relation to infant poverty.
It does, however, post the lowest level of bullying amongst
The country also ranks 24 in terms of academic results of
its minors.
