5-Star Movement online presidential ballot hacked

Rome, April 12 - The first-day results of an
online vote by former comedian Beppe Grillo's 5-Star Movement
(M5S) to select a candidate for the next Italian president has
been annulled after it was hacked, Grillo said on his Website
Thursday's scrapped voting will be relaunched on Friday.
The vote is open to M5S members who signed on before
December 31, 2012.
President Giorgio Napolitano's successor will be
determined by a vote next week by members of parliament and 58
regional electors.
"The chosen name (from the online ballot) will be the one
that the M5S votes for in parliament," said Grillo Thursday.
