Police arrest gang members working together in drug deals

Rome, June 14 - Police in Rome said they arrested
23 suspects on Friday from a drug trafficking ring controlled by
two criminal gangs working together.
The alliance involved the Roman Romagnoli crime syndicate
and the Calabrian 'Ndrangheta mafia clan Gallace, police said.
The gangs reportedly held a monopoly on the cocaine market
in and around the capital.
The 23 people arrested could face charges of mafia
association and drug trafficking.
