Sociali delle Marche" youth clubs.
The protesters lowered the Turkish flag to half mast and
then went and sat in the Consul's office, where some journalists
were permitted to meet with them.

The protest was carried as a sign of solidarity to
demonstrators in Turkey, and aimed at "widening the spaces open
to democracy" in Europe, the protesters said.
