Rome, June 28 - Sabotage on Friday paralyzed the
website of the company belonging to a computer guru who,
together with comedian Beppe Grillo, founded the
anti-establishment Five-Star Movement (M5S) in Italy.
The website for the company Casaleggio e Associati, which
advises on networking strategies, became unnavigable for hours
on Friday.
As of 3pm, its Internet address called up a blank, white
page.
The company's founder Gianroberto Casaleggio, is an
Internet entrepreneur who co-founded M5S and edits Grillo's blog
- the primary political political platform for the movement that
won a quarter of the popular vote in Italy's parliamentary
election in February.
The website sabotage follows a series of cyber-attacks on
Casaleggio, Grillo said in posts on the social network Twitter
Friday morning.
A post on the Facebook profile of MP Adriano Zaccagnini,
formerly M5S, said the attack was carried out by Anonymous group
of hackers.
Zaccagnini, who resigned from M5S over its internal
politics this week, is one of a series of M5S parliamentarians
to either leave or be kicked out of the group.
