Mayor says man killed by tigers a 'preannounced tragedy'


Pinerolo (Turin), July 3 - One day after Mauro
Lagiard, 72, was mauled to death by three of his nine tigers as
he was feeding them inside a cage, Anna Balangelo, the mayor of
San Pietro Val Lemina where the zoological park they were living
in was located, said the incident was just waiting to happen.

adding however that ''the owners didn't want to part with the
