Verdict set for July 19 in Berlusconi 'pimping' case

Milan, July 5 - An Italian court will decide on
July 19 whether to uphold the prosecution's request for
seven-year prison sentences for three people accused of
providing prostitutes for parties at the home of ex-premier
Silvio Berlusconi.
They are Lele Mora, a former talent scout; Nicole Minetti,
ex-Lombardi regional councillor and the ex-premier's former
dental hygienist; and TV anchorman Emilio Fede.
In a related trial, a Milan court recently found Berlusconi
guilty of paying for sex with an underage prostitute known as
Ruby, but whose real name is Karima El Mahroug, and abusing his
power to try to cover up the affair.
The ex-premier was handed a seven-year sentence that he
said he would appeal against.
