Italian photographer released from Turkey

Rome, July 8 - An Italian photographer detained in
Turkey was released Monday.
"I'm free and at ease," Mattia Cacciatori told ANSA.
"They're escorting me to the airport and by this evening
I'll be in Italy".
The 24-year-old was arrested Saturday during demonstrations
in Istanbul's Taksim Square, which has been the site of
anti-government protests for weeks.
Cacciatori applauded the Italian foreign ministry for
"They've been fantastic," he said. "I bow before their
work. They were extremely effective and nice".
Cacciatori is the second Italian photographer arrested in
Turkey's ongoing demonstrations.
Last month Daniele Stefanini, 29, was struck in the head by
Turkish police who then detained him and released him three days
