Pope's visit to Brazil expected to boost Youth Day spirits


Brasilia, July 16 - The visit of Pope Francis to
Brazil for World Youth Day will give a ''special impetus'' to
the ''spirit of solidarity'' and social commitment of young
people, a Church spokesman said Tuesday.
According to a 2010 census, more than 30 million young
Brazilians consider themselves Catholics, and the pope's visit
''will serve to give an impetus to the natural strength of the
