Fishing boat runs into rocks off Tuscan island

Livorno, July 19 - A fishing boat early Friday
crashed into rocks off of Capraia, an Italian island located
between the coast of Tuscany and Corsica.
The 14.5-metre vessel ran aground at about 3:30am local
time, a few hundred metres south of the mouth of the island's
port, in waters known for swordfish.
The four crew members were saved by the Livorno coast
The vessel was not in condition to be towed, but must be
either repaired on-site or lifted from its spot on pontoons.
The Coast Guard is investigating the cause of the accident,
which occurred roughly 100 km from the Island of Giglio, where
the Costa Concordia crashed in January last year, killing 32.
