Autopsy shows arrested man suffocated after chest pressure


Sanremo, August 6 - An autopsy shows a suspected
drug dealer who died in June after being arrested by Italian
police suffocated after suffering pressure on his chest, a
prosecutor said Tuesday.
Bohli Kayes, a Tunisian native, died at the police station
in Riva Ligure on June 6.
"This is a serious responsibility for the State," said one
Originally, investigators were not sure if Kayes had
stopped breathing because of previous drug use or trauma.
Three police officers involved in his arrest are under
investigation for possible manslaughter in Kayes' death.
