Ancona, November 12 - Two people have been killed
by a wave of bad weather that has struck central Italy.
Both of the victims were from the central region of Marche.
A 72-year-old owner of a crate company died after being
blown off the roof of his factory while checking tiles near
Pesaro.
Another man was found dead after his car was enveloped in
water, as torrential rain caused flash floods, near the town of
Monte Cerignone.
He managed to get out of the vehicle but was unable to
reach safety.
The storms have caused damage in many areas, with several
roads blocked by landslides, and dozens of people have been
evacuated from their homes for safety.
Strong winds are still blowing in the region and more rain
is forecast.
