ECB urged govts in eurozone to continue reforms

Rome, April 2 - Despite an improved outlook for the
eurozone economy, the European Central Bank warned governments
against complacency and urged continued structural reforms,
according to minutes of an ECB meeting released Thursday.
Participants at the central bank's March 2015 meeting to
review policy interest rates advised governments they should not
"lower their guard".
According to the minutes, participants also expressed
"concern" over recent decisions by some policy makers to use
"more discretion" on budget rules.
ECB President Mario Draghi presented new growth estimates
at the meeting, which were later made public.
Bank economists forecast economic growth in the eurozone to
come in at 1.5% this year, rising to 1.9% in 2016 and reaching
2.1% in 2017.
